This is our fourth Christmas in Melbourne and finally a proper hot one. So far each year has managed to be only around 19 or 20 degrees, but clearly since we have a pool this year we were hoping for something a little hotter. Today has been around 28 degrees so we've managed to spend a lot of it outside. We've had a busy 24 hours with Stacey & Kai's wedding yesterday which was also outside at Mt. Waverley in Melbourne.
You can see some of those pictures here. It was another scorcher so the kids were wilting in the sun a bit. Christmas Eve night was spent putting up a neighbours trampoline and getting our own two's pressies ready.
So today has been quite a relaxing Christmas, the kids got up about 6:15am and Ethan was the most excited we've ever seen him. I think by 5 you REALLY look forward to Christmas! The pair of them have been high as kites all day - still playing as I type. Ethan's main present was a new bike while Aidan's was a pedal tractor - but they've spent most of the day playing with the myriad of Lego, Playmobil, Wall-E stuff etc etc.
You can see some of todays pictures here.
Hope everyone reading this is well and have a great Christmas too !!! Merry Christmas all.

Brilliant photo's, and obviously you all had a fantastic Christmas. I wish we had a little of your weather, and of course a dip in the pool would be very nice too. Any room left for any more toys? their birthdays will be here before you know it :-)
Enjoy the rest of your holiday, Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you all.
Love, Mam and Dad.xx.
Hi All
The pool looks fantastic and the kids look as if they have had a great time.
I am sitting at work on a very gray and cold new years eve and noticed it was after twelve in Melbourne. So I hope you have a wonderfull New Year and all the very best.
Love from Susanne
