Famous Faces

We've decided that if you want to spot celebrities you can forget The Ivy in London - airport lounges are the place to be. If you didn't already know, we've just arrived back in the UK and added to the tally of famous faces we've encountered on our travels. This trip we were sat next to celebrity chef Rick Stein....he was in the Qantas/BA lounge at Singapore. I was tempted to ask him what he thought of the airline food but as he was probably in First Class, it would of been much better than the stuff we had ! Then, while sitting in Heathrow's T5 lounge waiting for the flight to Newcastle - there was Gary Lineker, Martin O'Neil, Alan Hanson and some other bloke I didn't recognise. Unfortunately Shearer was not with them otherwise we'd of collected the autographs for the 'kids'! So we mixed with the rich and famous, adding to the others we've seen on past travels (The Cure in Auckland and Jason Donovan in Heathrow)..... It's the place to hang out.
