It's the last day of 2005 and the weather has stayed as hot as hell since Boxing day. This is us in the back garden today, soaking up a few rays before having to go back into the cool of the air conditioned house(!). As you can see, my natural deep tomato red colouring is coming along nicely whereas Maxine is going the colour you are supposed to in the sun - we're obviously trying to keep Ethan milky white. The weather forecast said it could get up as high as 42 degrees C today after reaching 39.5 yesterday. If it does it will be the hottest New Years Eve on record in Melbourne. Tonight we plan to go to the marina to watch the fireworks over the city, then back home to see the New Year in (or 1:00pm in the afternoon to most of you!). So Happy 1:00pm one and all !!
